Minneapolis, MN – Sempris, LLC under the guidance of George Richards of Naples, Florida has established a college intern program designed to bring real-life work experience to soon-to-be-graduating college seniors who are majoring in a marketing or business-related program.
Initiated in 2016, the Sempris paid intern program has proven beneficial to both Sempris and the interns alike. Interns are given responsibilities that take advantage of their educational knowledge and skills to support our staff by developing spreadsheets, analyzing data and overseeing selected marketing-related endeavors, while working for a company that provides an entrepreneurial spirit that can help them define a career path for the future.
Eric Smason, a Sempris Marketing Analyst, began his career as an intern and after completing his internship was hired as a full-time employee. Smason tells us that his intern experience was “A great opportunity to learn from a company that has such a wealth of knowledge and a staff that enjoys mentoring college students.” What’s more, Smason states that “The more he works at Sempris, the more he knows he made the right decision to take the intern position while he was still in school.”
